We have migrated, not overseas, but to a new blog. The new blog name is given by daddy. Cayden is Ashrel's infant baptism name and Shania is Cherelle's given name. Check out our latest update at our new blog.

Kor Kor & Mei Mei

It's so difficult to get Ashrel and Cherelle to take a picture together. Ashrel can never sit still. Else he would make cheeky face or close his eyes. Mommy loves to take pictures of the kids and meimei is her favourite 'model' now. She used to take thousands of pictures of Ashrel when he was a baby.

Cherelle is 3 Months Old

Cherelle is 3 months old. She now weighs 5.93kg and is 61cm tall. From mommy's record, Ashrel was 7.1kg and 69cm at 3 months old. Cherelle can lift up her head at about 2.5 months. Now she can flip from face up to tummy down position but not the other way yet. Many people have commented that Cherelle has big and round pupil (eyes). Mommy looks at the photos she took and it's quite true.

Is My Hair Nice?

Ashrel is very conscious of his appearance nowadays. From head to toe, he always make sure that he looks his best. My boy is 3 years old only..

Daddy brought him for a haircut on Saturday. Ashrel used to scream and struggle during haircut when he was younger. But ever since the first time he had his hair cut by hairstylist May at Fantastic Sam, he was not afraid anymore. She is good with kids and is very skillful. It costs $18 per cut, but as long as he sits still and gets a nice cut, is worth it.

The moment he saw 'ah ma' that afternoon, he asked, 'is my hair nice'? The next day he went to school and the first thing he asked his teacher was, 'is my hair nice'?

Shower Time

Cherelle enjoys 'pong pong' a lot. She would smile, kick her legs and even try to stand up. Good that mommy is an experienced mom, else may drop her into the water. Daddy would not dare to try bathing Cherelle looking at how strong and active she is in water. Sometimes, Cherelle would cry when mommy brings her up from the bathtub. Mommy would tell her, 'ok, tomorrow we would come for swimming again'.

Gathering at IMM

Mommy met up with the May thread western mommies at IMM on 17 July. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Thank you, Jeanyard for organising the gathering and the pictures.

Fire, Fire, Fire...

Ashrel simply loves anything that is associated with 'fire'... fire-station, fire-engines, fire-men, news on TV and story books that show fire-fighting scenes. Thank God, he always tell mommy that we cannot play with fire as it is very dangerous. On 14 July (his birthday), daddy brought him to the Central Fire Station in the morning. He enjoyed himself very much.

His favourite colour is red too. He always insists to dress himself in red, even his brief.

Ashrel is 3!

Ashrel is 3. We had a simple celebration/dinner at Swensons. Ashrel had a kids fish and chips meal and a free 'Firehouse Ice-cream'. Daddy bought him a police lego set for his birthday. Cherelle slept in her stroller while we were having dinner. Once we finished, she woke up and we could take family pictures. Ashrel was very happy that day. As usual, Mommy was happy too as long as the kids are happy.

More Photos

Nicholas is Ashrel's best friend/classmate. He never fails to tell mommy about Nicholas everyday he comes back from school. Ashrel 'copied' everything that Nicholas does. Nicholas has a pair of white shoes and Ashrel asks daddy to get him a pair too. They even pee together into the same toilet bowl! The teachers are trying to explain to Ashrel that he is a special and individual self. Ashrel knows it now, at least he does not need Nicholas by his side in school at all time.

Yummy! Ashrel is a good eater and he always finishes his food. He is generally not fussy about food except green vegetables.

We did not bring meimei along as mommy is afraid of passing any virus to her since she is still a small baby.

Ashrel turned 3 years old on 14 July 2007. This was the first time Ashrel celebrated his birthday in school with all his classmates and teachers. Both mommy and him were excited. Ashrel had chosen a Thomas The Train cake for his birthday. Mommy bought fishballs, nuggets, quail eggs, honey star and baby bites (as per Ashrel's request as all are his favourite food) for the party. Mommy also prepared a goodie bag each for all his schoolmates. Ashrel was very happy when everyone sang him the Happy Birthday song. He was smiling brightly throughout the whole session : )

Let's Go On Car Ride

Cherelle seems to enjoy car ride. Once on her carseat, she would open her eyes big and look around. After a while, she would doze off to dreamland.

Nathan's Birthday

Pictures were taken during Nathan's birthday celebration. Ashrel was very happy as he did painting and had his favourite hamburger (MacDonalds Happy Meal). We had to leave before the cake cutting session, as it was getting late and both Ashrel and Cherelle were already very tired.
